To be determined by group
How to
Continue working on the multimedia presentation for this session and for future sessions, if necessary. Start planning new products that can be made with the content used for the multimedia presentation.
Sample projects
Web Site
Make a Web site about soil.
Group Journal
Make a book that can be copied and distributed to other children, parents and adults. Storyboard the book pages.
Videos
Make a short video about soil. For first-time video projects, the simpler the equipment, the better.
Green Maps
Check the Green Maps Web site for suggestions, templates and examples of how to make customized maps that display the location and/or distribution of resources within a neighborhood or across a community. For example, how many community gardens, parks and playgrounds are in your students' neighborhood? Where can people buy fresh produce? Where are the waste and hazardous dump sites in the community? Maps can be made by hand or using software.
