Description: The Center provides educational, enrichment and support opportunities to children and families in the Columbia Heights, Mt. Pleasant, Adams Morgan and Shaw neighborhoods. Calvary offers a variety of child and youth development services that reflect a belief that families must be supported and involved for the successful development and education of children. The curriculum combines a strong arts base with technology and provides activities in both Spanish and English. Calvary prepares youth for the opportunities of a global and digital future. Founded in 1987, Calvary has expanded from providing early childhood development programs for 15 neighborhood children to providing a comprehensive family support environment to more than 200 children, youth and families.
