Education Development Center, Inc. is pleased to announce the launch of the Digital / Media / Arts Web site. Digital / Media / Arts is a two-year, project-based curriculum designed for high school career academies or programs in media and digital design. The curriculum is offered free of charge because of a grant from The James Irvine Foundation, which supported its development and dissemination.
Digital / Media / Arts is composed of two yearlong Foundations Courses (Foundations in Visual Arts, Foundations in Media and Digital Design) and sixteen units in English language arts, math, science, and history social-sciences.
Visitors can now preview the entire curriculum and download the complete Foundations in Visual Arts course and an English Language Arts integrated unit. All units will be available in September 2010.
