TechSoup

TechSoup.org offers nonprofits a one-stop resource for technology needs by providing free information, resources, and support. In addition to online information and resources, we offer a product philanthropy service called TechSoup Stock. Here, nonprofits can access donated and discounted technology products, generously provided by corporate and nonprofit technology partners.

Intel Computer Clubhouse

The Intel Computer Clubhouse Network is an international community of 100 Computer Clubhouses located in 20 different countries around the world.

Flint Profiles - Community Information Agents Online

Description: Six high school children in the CIAO (Community Information Agents Online) program spent 6 weeks in Summer, 2000 learning video publishing for the net. This project goals were to help high school students become decision makers who influence community leaders to respond to their ideas for change. The youth built Web sites for the Urban Gardens program, the Neighborhood Roundtable and two library branches. Partners in the project included the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor, School of Information and the Kellogg Foundation.

Manhattan Neighborhood Newtork Youth Channel

Description: The Youth Channel is a division of Manhattan Neighborhood Network (MNN) a media literacy education and audiovisual production organization, helps youth under 25 make their own television programs, magazines, photography exhibits and personal projects focusing on youth and community issues. targeting youth under 25. The site provides information on the organization's programs, including video clips and contact information regarding training.

CentroNia

Description: The Center provides educational, enrichment and support opportunities to children and families in the Columbia Heights, Mt. Pleasant, Adams Morgan and Shaw neighborhoods. Calvary offers a variety of child and youth development services that reflect a belief that families must be supported and involved for the successful development and education of children. The curriculum combines a strong arts base with technology and provides activities in both Spanish and English. Calvary prepares youth for the opportunities of a global and digital future.
