YouthLearn Expands Through Projects

As YouthLearn continues to grow, the number of pilot projects we have participated in has increased. Each project has been an opportunity to implement our technology-infused methodology in a variety of new capacities and allow us to work more directly with educators and young people to solve their needs. In the AT&T Young Leaders program, for instance, we are working with young people and their adult mentors in community technology centers across the country towards establishing best practices in youth leadership. In Massachusetts, we are assisting teachers from the New Bedford Global Learning Charter School in developing their first afterschool programs and promoting greater incorporation of project-based learning throughout in-school setting. In an effort to develop capacity to share resources globally, we are currently designing a program and training instructors for a USAID supported telecentre in the Democratic Republic of Congo. Check back often for updates of our current projects as well as to receive information on our future projects and collaborations.
